Our ambition was simple: build the “Porsche” of wheelchairs—a product defined by style, visual impact, and premium quality, without compromising real-world performance.
I was part of the core team behind the Veloce and Apex wheelchairs - both Red Dot Award winners, developed within a cross-functional group and involving the development of 60+ parts across structural, functional, and cosmetic components.
Working with a team of 3 designers and 10 engineers, I supported an iterative process from concept through prototyping, testing, and field feedback integration. My contribution was strongly style- and aesthetics-driven, applying advanced surfacing (G2/G3 continuity)—including on the carbon frame—to refine form language, transitions, and overall appeal.
After the design phase, I led the full visual content creation, producing high-end renderings and marketing assets used across the company’s communication channels (web, product pages, presentations, and media).
